Healing Touch Rehab is delighted to once again be co-hosting the Collaboration in Rehabilitation Conference, returning to Leeds on Thursday 15 October 2026.

Hosted in partnership with Positive OT & Case Management and Intospeech, this not-for-profit event will bring together professionals from across the rehabilitation community for a day focused on learning, shared experience and stronger multidisciplinary working for both children and adults.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural conference, this year’s event will continue to explore what meaningful collaboration looks like in practice and how professionals across rehabilitation, case management and the legal sector can work together to support better outcomes for clients.

Collaboration in practice

At Healing Touch Rehab, collaborative working is a fundamental part of the way we approach rehabilitation. For people living with complex or life-changing injuries, support rarely involves just one professional or one area of expertise: therapists, case managers, solicitors, families and other specialists may all have an important role to play, often over many years.

Collaboration in Rehab 2026 will bring those different perspectives together through real-world case studies, lived client experiences and practical discussion. There will be a particular focus on functional outcomes and the value of longer-term multidisciplinary team involvement throughout a person’s rehabilitation journey.

Hearing from different professionals, as well as people with lived experience, provides an opportunity to look beyond individual disciplines and consider how rehabilitation works in someone’s everyday life.

It is an approach that was central to last year’s conference and one we are looking forward to developing further in 2026.

Bringing the rehabilitation community together

As well as providing an opportunity to learn, the conference creates valuable space for professionals to meet, exchange ideas and strengthen relationships across the rehabilitation community.

For solicitors, case managers, therapists and others supporting children and adults with complex injuries, having strong professional relationships can help teams communicate more effectively and understand the different expertise each person brings to a case.

We are looking forward to welcoming familiar faces back to Leeds this October, as well as meeting professionals attending the conference for the first time.

Supporting the wider community

Collaboration in Rehabilitation 2026 is a not-for-profit event and will once again support local charitable initiatives.

The event will be held at St George’s Conference Centre in Leeds, a venue with a strong community focus that reflects the wider aims of the conference.

Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are also available for organisations wishing to support the event and connect with professionals from across rehabilitation and case management.
