Our Brand Inspiration
The concept for our brand is based around Kintsugi, a philosophy which views breakage and repair as part of the unique history of an object. When applied to people, it celebrates the things that make us who we are. Our practice is built around our patients and our values allude to the fact that we repair and rehabilitate with skill, passion and care.

Charlie has been on a remarkable journey with us over the past three years. Following a late diagnosis of hydrocephalus, he was experiencing delayed developmental milestones and challenges with balance, coordination, proprioception, strength, postural control and hand-eye coordination.![]()

Our early work together focused on targeted neurological rehabilitation through hands-on physiotherapy and occupational therapy, with a goal-centred approach to optimise function and support independence.![]()

As Charlie progressed, his therapy evolved too. He now attends gym-based resisted training and conditioning alongside occupational therapy, helping him build strength, cardiovascular fitness and the wider skills needed for greater social and vocational independence.![]()

The progress has been remarkable. Charlie now demonstrates much stronger form in the gym, needs only minimal verbal prompts, and has made brilliant gains in fitness with noticeably less fatigue. Beyond the gym, he has also been independently researching career paths in the aviation industry and has shown real improvement in planning and executive function.![]()

Children's bodies are constantly developing: the musculoskeletal changes that happen throughout childhood and adolescence mean that working with younger clients requires a different kind of expertise, one that understands not just where a child is now, but how their needs will evolve as they grow.![]()

Our paediatric team works with children and young adults across all functional levels, including those with complex neurological and neurodevelopmental needs. Sessions are tailored carefully to each individual, with goals that are meaningful to the child and their family, not just clinically relevant.![]()

We also know that for therapy to work, children need to want to be there. So we work hard to make sessions engaging, motivating and something to look forward to. Play, creativity and genuine connection are part of how we work, not an afterthought.![]()

Sometimes the first step in rehabilitation is simply finding a way to connect 🤝![]()

When Thomas came to us following a traumatic brain injury, he was living with reduced fatigue threshold, emotional dysregulation, difficulties with coordination and proprioception, and challenges with attention and information retention.![]()

At first, engagement was hard. So we started where he was.![]()

Through simple, play-based activities, we focused on building a therapeutic relationship and helping Thomas feel more settled in the work. Over time, those early sessions developed into more sports-led therapeutic activities, including basketball, resistance training and complex functional training, always paced carefully around fatigue 🏀![]()

Over six months, we saw meaningful progress. Thomas became more engaged in sessions, more able to follow and retain instructions, and more motivated to challenge himself. Most importantly, he began to enjoy the process, and that mattered as much as anything else.![]()

It has been a privilege to be part of his journey - his determination has been inspiring to see.
