The concept for our brand is based around Kintsugi, a philosophy which views breakage and repair as part of the unique history of an object. When applied to people, it celebrates the things that make us who we are. Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialist physiotherapy programme designed to address symptoms of dizziness and imbalance arising from dysfunction in the vestibular system 💙Through targeted, exercise-based intervention, the programme works by promoting central nervous system compensation for inner ear deficits. In practice, this means helping the brain learn to rely more on alternative sensory inputs, from the eyes, ankles, legs and neck, to maintain balance and reduce the impact of disorienting signals from the inner ear. Over time, this can lead to meaningful improvements in balance, postural control and dizziness.Vestibular and inner ear disorders can affect people in ways that go well beyond the primary symptoms. Alongside dizziness and balance difficulties, individuals may experience reduced muscle strength, limited range of motion, and increased tension in the cervical and shoulder muscles, which can contribute to fatigue, headaches and migraines. Our physiotherapists and occupational therapists work together around each client, rather than in parallel 💙For individuals recovering from spinal cord injury, that joined-up approach matters enormously. Recovery touches every part of a person's life: physical function, independence at home, community participation, return to work, leisure and psycho-social wellbeing. A truly interdisciplinary team addresses all of it, not just the clinical priorities.We offer rehabilitation in the client's own home, community or workplace, starting with a thorough assessment and a comprehensive report outlining their specific needs, rehabilitation objectives and treatment plan. From there, ongoing support focuses on building progress, increasing independence and working towards the longer-term goals that matter most to the individual.Physical therapy focuses on muscle strengthening, maintaining optimal muscle length, paralysis management and muscle spasm control.
