Our Brand Inspiration

The concept for our brand is based around Kintsugi, a philosophy which views breakage and repair as part of the unique history of an object. When applied to people, it celebrates the things that make us who we are. Our practice is built around our patients and our values allude to the fact that we repair and rehabilitate with skill, passion and care.

Testimonials

Mr Stainthorp

Healing Touch Rehab took over our daughters rehabilitation care, creating a bespoke program many years after she had acquired a brain injury. She was physically regressing and we had severe challenges managing her progressive scoliosis, until we instructed Healing Touch. She had severe tonal fluctuations, developing contractures, scoliosis tightening of limbs and needed Botox injections…read more

Paula Foster - JSP Manchester

Working with Healing Touch Rehab Ltd has reinforced my commitment when working towards the rehabilitation of people with a brain injury. They demonstrate a genuine desire to work cohesively with professionals to address the challenges that people face following a brain injury and remain person-centred. I would recommend Healing Touch Rehab Ltd. Thanks Kay.

Carolyn Heaton - Partner IM Leeds - Serious Injuries Team

Kay has been a treating physiotherapist on various paediatric brain injury cases and, as part of this, has been an integral part of the MDT. Kay works closely with the injured child, their family and the wider team to deliver hands on therapy leading to tangible and beneficial goals and outcomes.

Georgina Petty - Senior Case Manager

Kay has undertaken some excellent rehabilitation work and achieved great progress with my client. She is proactive, flexible, produces and regularly reviews detailed programmes and risk assessments. Kay maintains excellent communication throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Earlier this month, we were proud to host a Yorkshire Acquired Brain Injury Forum (YABIF) event at Healing Touch Rehab, bringing together clinicians, legal professionals and specialist colleagues. It was an evening focused on paediatric early intervention and the safeguarding implications when that intervention is delayed 💙Our Clinical Director, Kay Ganguly, presented on the importance of early intervention in protecting against unavoidable harm for children with complex disabilities, and the conversations throughout the evening reflected just how much shared commitment there is across our sector to protecting futures and supporting families. What made the evening so valuable was the mix of people in the room. When clinicians, legal professionals and other specialists share knowledge and strengthen relationships in this way, it creates a much stronger foundation for the children and families who need joined-up, coordinated support.A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed 🙏We've written about the evening in our latest blog, read it at the link below ⬇️buff.ly/2MAmC#yabifY#PaediatricRehabR#earlyinterventionn#acquiredbraininjuryn#safeguardingrding ... We know that the strongest progress happens when care is joined up, intentional, and truly centred around the child 💙Child’s development doesn’t happen in isolated parts, it is a connected process. Movement, regulation, attention, and confidence all influence one another every single day. This is reflected in the close integration between our Paediatric Sensory Occupational Therapy and Paediatric Physiotherapy provision, creating a joined-up pathway of care.🩻 Paediatric Physiotherapy builds the physical foundations, strength, balance, posture, and mobility. These are the essential building blocks that support a child to roll, sit, stand, and move through their environment.🥼 Paediatric Sensory Occupational Therapy then builds on this foundation supporting how the child processes sensory information, develops fine motor control, plans movements, and applies these skills in real-world daily activities. When these two disciplines work together, something powerful happens, support becomes joined-up, and progress becomes functional. This integrated approach helps children not just develop skills, but use them with greater confidence, regulation, and independence in everyday life.Meaningful rehabilitation isn’t about isolated gains. It’s about helping a child feel more capable in the moments that matter most.To learn more or for booking details contact us on: 📧 clinic@healingtouchrehab.co.uk📞 0113 548 2865 ... See MoreSee Less
