The concept for our brand is based around Kintsugi, a philosophy which views breakage and repair as part of the unique history of an object. When applied to people, it celebrates the things that make us who we are. Emma has a history of traumatic brain injury, and her rehabilitation journey has involved overcoming a number of complex challenges. She has navigated the impact of COVID-19, undergone two orthopaedic surgeries, managed persistent pain and faced multiple orthotic challenges along the way 🌟![]()

Despite these barriers, Emma has continued to demonstrate extraordinary resilience, commitment and courage.![]()

When Emma first started working with us, her mobility was significantly limited and she could only engage in bed-based exercise training with considerable effort and had very limited ability to mobilise outdoors.![]()

Through consistent rehabilitation, collaborative goal setting and a strong therapeutic relationship, Emma has continued to make meaningful progress. Today, Emma’s achievements are truly inspiring ✨![]()

She enjoys a full and active social calendar, regularly attends the gym, participates in a range of different exercise classes and continues to challenge herself to achieve new goals. Most recently, Emma completed a 1 km sponsored walk up Colstone Cut, a remarkable milestone that reflects not only her physical progress, but also her determination, confidence and belief in what she can achieve 🏃🏻♀️➡️![]()

When we are instructed on a case, we bring the clinical rigour and person-centred approach that underpins everything we do at Healing Touch Rehab 💙![]()

Our process begins with a detailed specialist assessment, matched to the client's condition and the specific nature of their difficulties. From this, we produce a comprehensive, bespoke report covering the client's areas of difficulty, rehabilitation goals, therapeutic approach and full costings, including equipment assessment, innovative technology and specialist splinting where relevant.![]()

Once funding is approved, treatment begins. We work wherever is right for the client: at home, in school, college, a daycare centre, leisure facility, gym or pool. Rehabilitation that fits around a person's life, not the other way around.![]()

Our involvement doesn't stop at direct therapy: we train and supervise support staff and carers in physiotherapeutic approaches, postural management and handling schedules. We complete detailed risk assessments and guidelines for specialist equipment, hydrotherapy and rebound therapy. And we work actively to support community integration using leisure and sports activities to build confidence, social skills and independence.![]()

Throughout, we provide updated goal-setting and review reports in line with the client's progress, and contribute our professional input to multidisciplinary team meetings as required.![]()
