The concept for our brand is based around Kintsugi, a philosophy which views breakage and repair as part of the unique history of an object. When applied to people, it celebrates the things that make us who we are. We are delighted to be co-hosting the Collaboration in Rehabilitation Conference for the second year running, returning to Leeds on Thursday 15 October 2026 💙Hosted in partnership with Positive OT & Case Management and Intospeech, this not-for-profit event brings together professionals from across rehabilitation, case management and the legal sector for a day of shared learning, real-world case studies and practical discussion, with all proceeds supporting local charitable initiatives.This year's conference continues to explore what meaningful collaboration looks like in practice. For people living with complex or life-changing injuries, the support around them rarely involves just one professional or one area of expertise. Therapists, case managers, solicitors, families and other specialists may all play a significant role, often over many years. This week, Healing Touch Rehab Centre celebrates its first anniversary 🎉A year ago, we opened our doors with a simple but powerful belief: children and young people with complex neurological needs deserve access to intensive, specialist rehabilitation focused on what each child can achieve.What this first year has taught us is harder to measure than referral numbers or clinical outcomes. It is the child taking a step they were once told might not be possible. The parent seeing a glimpse of something they had almost stopped hoping for. The small changes that, over time, become life-changing ones ✨Children and families are now travelling to us from far and wide, finding a centre where specialist rehabilitation is designed around each child's individual needs, goals and potential. What once felt like a real gap in provision is beginning to be filled. That feels like one of the most meaningful milestones of all 💖And perhaps what has meant the most about this first year is the people who have been part of it. Our incredible team. The children who challenge and inspire us. The families who place their trust in us. Neurological physiotherapy for children is genuinely specialist work, shaped by years of clinical experience across complex paediatric presentations 🧠Our paediatric neurological physiotherapy service supports children and teenagers presenting with physical difficulties as a result of neurological conditions. We work with a wide range of presentations including acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, nerve injuries, stroke and multiple trauma, tailoring every programme to the individual child and their family.From the very first appointment, our focus is on understanding what matters most to the child and the people around them. We carry out detailed initial assessments, provide advice on specialist equipment where needed, and develop specific therapy programmes built around clear, meaningful goals.We also know that navigating a new diagnosis or finding the right support can feel overwhelming.
