As we move through 2026, we have taken a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate just how far Healing Touch Rehab has come.
What began as a vision to transform neurological rehabilitation for children and adults has continued to grow into something we are incredibly proud of. Every milestone we have reached this year has been driven by one clear purpose: helping people achieve their fullest potential and supporting families through some of life’s most challenging journeys.
A rehabilitation centre filled with hope
One of our proudest achievements has been the continued success of our specialist Paediatric Intensive Neurological Rehabilitation Centre.
The response from families, case managers, healthcare professionals, and legal teams has exceeded our expectations. We are incredibly grateful for the trust placed in us by so many families who travel to us seeking specialist rehabilitation for their children.
Walking through our centre each day is a reminder of why we do what we do. Every smile, every first step, every new movement, every word spoken, and every gain in confidence or independence tells a story that statistics alone could never capture.
These moments are what continue to shape our work and strengthen our commitment to delivering rehabilitation that is specialist, personal, and grounded in what matters most to each child and family.
Growing our team to meet growing demand
As demand for our services has continued to increase, so has our team.
This year, we have welcomed exceptional new clinicians and professionals who share our passion for delivering outstanding neurological rehabilitation. We have also expanded our multidisciplinary offer with the introduction of specialist Music Therapy and Sensory Integration Occupational Therapy services, creating even more opportunities for children and young people to reach their potential.
Every new member of Healing Touch Rehab brings specialist knowledge, compassion, and a strong commitment to the people we support. Investing in our team remains one of our greatest priorities, and throughout the year our clinicians have continued to benefit from professional development, mentoring, specialist training, and shared learning opportunities.
By continuing to develop our team’s skills and knowledge, we can ensure that our clients receive high-quality rehabilitation informed by current evidence and best practice.
Supporting clients beyond the clinic
Alongside our clinical services, our Expert Witness practice has also continued to grow this year.
Our medico-legal work allows us to advocate for children and adults living with complex neurological conditions, helping to ensure they receive fair, evidence-based recommendations to support their long-term rehabilitation and future needs.
This work sits closely alongside our clinical practice, with each strengthening the other. Together, they allow us to combine hands-on rehabilitation experience with the professional expertise needed to support clients and families in a wider context.
Looking ahead
Although we are proud of everything we have achieved so far this year, we know our journey is only just beginning.
We are already looking forward to one of the highlights of our calendar, the Collaboration in Rehabilitation Conference this October. The conference reflects so much of what Healing Touch Rehab stands for: bringing professionals together, sharing knowledge, encouraging thoughtful discussion, and ultimately improving outcomes for the people we serve.
As we look towards the remainder of 2026, our ambition remains unchanged. We want to continue investing in our people, continue developing our services, and continue raising the standard of neurological rehabilitation for children and adults alike.
Above all, we remain committed to placing every child, every adult, and every family at the heart of everything we do.
To every client who has trusted us, every family who has allowed us to be part of their journey, every colleague who shares our vision, and every professional who continues to support our work, thank you.
Together, we are not only delivering rehabilitation. We are creating opportunities, restoring independence, and helping to shape brighter futures.
