We recently had the pleasure of welcoming professionals and valued colleagues for an open evening at the Healing Touch Rehab Centre in Horsforth, offering an opportunity to come together, share our expertise and reflect on the work we are doing to support children and families across the region.
Bringing the industry together
The event brought together our wide network of healthcare professionals, case managers and legal colleagues, all with a shared interest in improving access to meaningful rehabilitation. Guests were invited to tour the centre, learn more about our intensive rehabilitation programmes and take part in thoughtful discussion around early intervention and long-term outcomes for children with complex needs.
As part of the evening, our Clinical Director, Kay Ganguly, presented the vision behind the centre, outlining our values and vision that guide our approach to excellence in care, along with an overview of the services and treatment options available to clients.
Commenting on the event and the ethos that sits behind everything Healing Touch does, Kay said: “It was really valuable to welcome so many professionals into the centre and take the time to talk openly about the challenges families face when accessing rehabilitation. Being able to share our approach, listen to others’ perspectives and have those conversations in person is an important part of how we continue to learn and develop as a service.
The conversations throughout the evening reinforced the importance of collaboration and there was a shared recognition of the value of working together to ensure children receive timely, structured and appropriate rehabilitation support.”
We are grateful to everyone who took the time to attend and engage so thoughtfully with our team. The interest shown in our service, and the shared commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people, was greatly appreciated.
We look forward to continuing these conversations and strengthening partnerships as we work together to support children and families through every stage of their rehabilitation journey.
